Tea Tree oil (aka Melaleuca) is a traditional Australian essential oil and is best known for its purifying properties. It is a common ingredient in cleaning products, deodorant and skin care and is used to soothe skin irritations. Diffusing Tea Tree can also help to purify and freshen the air.

Ingredients – Tea Tree (Melaleuca) essential oil
Aromatic Description – Herbaceous, green, leathery
Therapeutic Use – Soothe skin irritations, purify the air
Aromatic Use – Diffuse tea tree oil to help purify the air, espeically helpful when there are germs lurking.
Topical Use – Apply 1-2 drops on skin irritations. While this oil can be used neat sparingly for this purpose, we advise diluting with a carrier oil as repeated use can create skin sensitisation. Add to facial cleanser or apply diluted to skin after shaving. Apply diluted to nails after showering to strengthen nails
Internal Use – Not safe for use internally. (The USA version of this oil is labelled food grade. The Austalian version is not. They are the same oil, however Tea Tree Oil has not been approved as a food in Australia).
Cleaning – Add to homemade spray cleaning products.
Safety Information – Potential skin sensitivity, patch test and dilute. If pregnant, nursing or under doctors care, seek advice.
