The Waters Co BIO 500 Max 7 litre bench top water filter is a part of the Bio max series of bench tops that are unmatched in performance by anything else on the market. It is the first water filter of its kind to remove up to 99.9% of fluoride from your water (previous model removed up to 85%).

The BIo 500 MAX is the same physical external size as the original 5.25L but with a redesign inside to allow for a taller internal hand blown blue glass reservoir. The tap is chrome and the plastic used in the filter cartridge is BPA Free and plastic use is kept to an absolute minimum. The filter comes with a filter kit that lasts for 4 years. While it is an initial investment up front, you do not have to purchase another filter for 4 years, and you can filter up to 8 litres of water per day for the 4 year lifespan. The capacity of the filter is 7 litres making it suitable for either domestic or light commercial use.

As well as filtering out undesirable elements, this filter puts minerals back in to the water and produces an alkaline pH level of between 7.4 to 8.2 once filtered. The quality of the original water does have some bearing on these results.

Somelite, coral and silica sands re-mineralise the water with around 60 essential sea based micronutrients such as calcium, magnesium, sodium and pottasium.
